SYNOPSIS
Bess, a rebellious trailer park teen, and her nine-year-old friend Waldo, steal a car and make a desperate journey from Kansas to Las Vegas in search of Bess’ father, a man she’s never known. It isn’t long before the troublesome duo catch the attention of Roach (Bill Sage, American Psycho, Boardwalk Empire, Nurse Jackie), a career grifter.
This unlikely trio of misfits embark on an adventure through the beautiful and dangerous landscapes of America’s Midwest, where they encounter an array of lost-souls, deadbeats and con men, and ultimately learn that family can be found in the oddest of places.
